"I wanted to capture the feeling of being by an ancient, giant Sequoia. I’m from Northern California where there are trees that have been around for thousands of years and they really put your whole life into perspective. They’ve lived in a deep past that we don’t know, and they’ll live into a deep future that we won’t be here for. I find that incredibly humbling and powerful.
